Class Prerequisites: Archery 101
Materials mandatory for class: None, but having/using personal equipment is highly suggested.
Archers will learn advanced information on the USA National Training System, an archer’s stance, shooting techniques, and the general care of archery equipment.
Each student will be instructed in:
● Advanced stretches and exercises for archery performance.
● Advanced terminology used in archery.
● Advanced archer’s stance, grip, draw and release training. (11 steps of NTS)
● Students will practice scoring arrows.
● The history of archery and different styles and disciplines of archery.
● Practice rules of competition and archery etiquette.
● Students will string and unstring bows.

Materials mandatory for Class: Personal equipment must be used and must pass a safety inspection.
This course will be tailored to each individual student’s goals. The focus will be competition driven, and in-depth USA NTS/equivalent training will be used. This course is designed for athletes who are committed to archery, competing and increasing their level of skill and performance.
